Why is it that in modern science the timescale of earth years is still defined with a BC/AD suffix?

oh thats just keeping the christians happy, they know everything classified BC or BCE (whats that all about) was pagan and therefore not real because us pagans had lots of gods and goddesses to chose from we are bad people, lol, i think not

if magic had over ridden religion there would have been no dark ages, and the human race would be much more enlightened, and scientist would maybe less anti everything including the paranormal, just my opinion

Oh so very true Pol.
In my opinion, what a lot of Christians miss the point that Paganism is about appreciating the world around us and not about casting black magick spells to harm others.
