Although almost a media icon for the paranormal community,the EMF meter is fairly useless for providing any relevant factual data because of the fairly broad detection range. Due to the high concentration of electro-magnetic fields as a result of modern day consumerism, it is almost impossible to differentiate between man-made and natural EM fields in an environment with an off-the-shelf EMF Meter. In short an EMF meter can only tell you that it has detected an EM field, and its proximity/power. But nothing more as to what it has detected.
